The First FRCR examination comprises two modules: Anatomy and Physics.
Anatomy is examined by an image viewing session and Physics by a multiple-choice written question (MCQ) paper.
Candidates can sit the two modules separately or in the same sitting, and may pass them together or separately. but must pass the two modules to can sit the next exam.
Anyone who is undergoing radiology training or has completed training can attempt FRCR Part 1. There is no minimum training requirement.
The examination will be held in March, June, and September each year, It’s available in the UK, Hong Kong, and Singapore 3 times a year. Further information can be found in the dates and fees document.
