Part 1 is written examination. The Part 1 paper has 160 MCQ questions and is 3 hours in duration.
ICO visual Science and Optics Exam – (International council of Ophthalmology)
The Exam consists of two papers (Visual Science And Optics), and you can sit these papers separately or on the same day
- Visual Science Paper has 120 MCQ Questions in 2 Hours duration.
- Optics Paper has 120 MCQ Questions in 2 Hours duration.
What are the eligibility criteria for the FRCSophth 1/ ICO 1 exam?
FRCS 1 Exam: To apply for the examination a candidate must have achieved the following, by the closing date for applications:
- A primary medical qualification.
- One-year internship
- One-year clinical experience.
ICO.
To sit the Examination you should have a primary medical qualification.
