MRCEM Intermediate SBA Examination
Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine

The MRCEM Intermediate SBA is a theoretical exam assessing understanding of the full range of conditions and presentation that may be encountered in the ED. Candidates should familiarise themselves with the Year 1-3 SLOs in preparation for sitting the examination. The MRCEM Intermediate SBA examination replaced the FRCEM Intermediate SAQ from August 2021.

What are the eligibility criteria for the MRCEM Intermediate SBA exam?

Candidates must passed the MRCEM Primary (or equivalent) exam.

MRCEM Primary Dates, fees, and Venues

MRCEM Primary is available 2 times every year, in February and September.

Course details:

22 lectures at the rate of 3 training Hours/Lecture
2 lectures per week for 2.5 months.
Quizzes and final Mock Exam.
